Hardware requirements

In addition to the components supplied with the PTS, you will need to supply some or
all of the following:
Component
Screwdriver
Rack mounting screws
Phillips #2 (DC power connection
only)
Slotted screwdriver
1 cable for each network port used
16 AWG copper wire (DC power
only)
Wire stripping tool (DC power only)
Description
Use to loosen/tighten the rack mounting
screws.
Appropriate screws to connect the mounting
bracket to the rack.
If installing DC power, use to connect ground
and power wires to terminal block.
Used to tighten/loosen the grounding lug
screw.
Category 5E UTP Ethernet cable with RJ-45
connector (maximum length 100 m).
or
2m 2-strand fiber 62.5u (MM) LC to SC
or
2m 2-strand fiber 9u (SM) LC to SC
To connect the element to the DC power
source.
Use to strip wire insulation.
