SAFETY PRECAUTIONS The following items should be checked for continued protection of the customer and the service technician. LEAKAGE CURRENT CHECK Before returning the set to the customer, be sure to carry out either (1) a leakage current check or (2) a line to chassis resistance check.

CAUTIONS IN SERVICING Firmware update • When you replace the IC113, you need software updates. Refer to "After replacing IC113". • When you replace the WLAN MODULE, you need software updates. And MAC Address seal replacement is required. Refer to "After replacing WLAN MODULE". Initializing Network Audio Player (Factory Rerset) Network Audio Player initialization should be performed when the μcom, peripheral parts of μcom, and WLAN MODULE are replaced.

Even with a broadband connection to the Internet, approximately 1 hour is required for the updating procedure to be completed. Once updating starts, normal operations on the DNP-720AE cannot be performed until updating is completed. Also, setting items may be initialized.
