Configuring Modules with Submodules
4.2.3.3
Certain PACSystems RX3i I/O Modules (such as the Analog Module in Figure 10) have configurable
parameters that must be selected prior to operation. Proficy Machine Edition indicates an error on the
module until its submodule-level configuration has been completed, as described below.

To complete this level of configuration, right-click the slot containing the I/O Module and select Change
Submodule List. This opens a dialog box that presents a list of submodule options. For example, an analog
module which employs jumpers to determine its functional voltage or current range would require an
equivalent submodule-level setting to be selected in PME.
