Playing Recorded Video

The DVR4C enables the user to play recorded video and archive clips to a USB memory device
in two formats: DV4 and AVI. The DV4 is a Bosch proprietary format that can only be viewed
with the Archive Player. The AVI format can be viewed with any Windows compatible
computer. When playing back an archive in AVI format, you must ensure that an XVID codec is
installed. Check the Bosch website, www.boschsecurity.com, for this codec.

Press the SEARCH button on the front panel of the DVR4C unit (see Table 4.1).
Press the up or down arrows on the front panel to select the Begin time, End time, and
Filter fields for editing. When finished editing each field, press the Enter button.
To search for recorded video, press the down arrow to select Start, then press the Enter
button. The DVR4C begins Searching, then displays the Event List.
Use the arrow buttons to select an appropriate Event, then press the Enter button.
When finished, press the ESC button to exit.
