Sub-menu 09 – 02 – chimney type The flue gas intake device speed (rev/min) can be changed to the many work powers through this "Sub-menu", without directly intervening on each individual parameter. It is undoubtedly the most used sub-menu by the Assistance Centres as it allows correctly adjusting combustion according to the flue's draught and type of pellet used during Commissioning (test).
Sub-menu 09 – 06 – default settings “Default It allows setting a series of operative parameters (from Pr01 to Pr37). Refer to the table settings” to find the meaning of each individual parameter. Sub-menu 09 – 07 – reset partial hours Resets the functioning partial hours.
OPERATIVE MODE The stove's normal functioning principle with reference to the available functions for the user is described below. The display appears as in figure 14 before igniting the stove. CLOCK BOILER WATER TEMPERATURE 15.35 - - - - 20 ° Fig.

No stove ignition If the flue gas temperature has not reached Pr13 minimum value admitted after Pr01 time has lapsed, the stove places itself in “NO IGNIT-“ alarm state. Stove working The stove goes to work phase, representing the normal functioning mode, after positive ignition. The system pump switches on if water in boiler temperature is higher than Pr33.

WHAT HAPPENS IF.. …the pellet does not ignite With no ignition. The “NO IGNIT-“ alarm message appears. Cancel the alarm and bring the stove to standard condition by pressing key 4 for a few seconds. …the fire door is improperly open or closed In case the door is open or closed improperly, the motor reducer cannot be powered electrically, not allowing the stove to switch on.
ALARMS The board intervenes and signals the occurred irregularity in case of functioning anomaly, operating in different mode depending on type of alarm. The following alarms are foreseen in the board. DISPLAY ORIGIN OF ALARM AL 9 Faulty or disconnected water temperature probe. WATER PROBE ACTIVE ALARM AL 2 Faulty or disconnected flue gas temperature probe.
FUNCTIONING PRINCIPLE Ignition cycle The ignition cycle can last max 25 minutes and is divided into four phases: 1 - START Flue gas intake device ignition duration 40 seconds 2 - LOAD PELLET Pellet pre-load (initial continuous load) and resistance ignition phase.
Work phase The set work power or "WORK 1, 2, 3, 4, 5", "DHW" (optional), "OVEN 1, 2, 3" (currently on SMART only), is shown on display during the stove's normal functioning. A “SET H20” (maximum temperature) can be set by working from 1 to 5. The stove enters Functioning Economy “T-H2O ECONOMY”...
DHW power work phase The domestic hot water is produced instantly via a double heat exchanger immersed in the water inside the stove. Therefore, the stove must be at temperature (60°C at least) to have domestic hot water. Set stove in DHW power “DHW” if a large amount of domestic hot water is required. The domestic hot water power function “DHW”...
Work phase with open room thermostat contact A bridge clamp is found at back of stove for connecting a room thermostat. OPERATION PRINCIPLE With open contact: 1. The stove directly changes to functioning economy “T-OFF ECONOMY” reducing work power to minimum. 2.
Oven power work phase (currently only on SMART) The room thermostat functioning is excluded by setting one of the three OVEN POWERS. Therefore, equipment continues working at full set power and with system heat pump always on, even with open T.A. contact.
Work phase with room temperature reached (only with activated room probe on remote control) (see “Remote A room temperature probe that can be activated/deactivated is present on the remote control control”). OPERATION PRINCIPLE Reached room temperature set on “SET ROOM”: 1.

Buzzer It allows enabling or disabling acoustic signal in case of alarm. Acoustic signal is only present on stove board and not on remote control. Enable room probe See “Menu 04” – Enable T.A. Allows enabling or disabling room temperature probe on remote control. Contact for the functioning modes.
Remote control connection to board. Using serial cable with provided specific adaptor, connect the remote control to serial connector (see “Wiring diagram”). CN13 Fig. 26 ADAPTOR SERIAL CONNECTOR ELECTRIC WIRE SERIAL CABLE REMOTE CONTROL The connecting wire to the remote control can be extended to a maximum of 150 m (tests made with 1.5 mm wires section).

BOOTLOADER PROGRAMMER Firmware loading in power board The following must be executed without USB connection. Use the microswitches to select the firmware to be installed in the board. Connect the BootLoader to the unpowered board using only the supplied serial cable. Power the board and see that the green LED flashes (if not, repeat operation) and the red...
11. PARAMETERS TABLES All parameters tables with database entered via access key are shown below. Depending on flue draught, the parameters in red must be checked and eventually modified upon Commissioning. Access TECHNICAL MENU 09, “sub-menu 01 – PELLET TYPE” and “sub-menu 02 – CHIMNEY TYPE” (see pages 13 and 14) for combustion calibration (combustion air and/or combustible load) without having to intervene on each individual parameter.

12. PARAMETERS EXPLANATION Pr01 Ignition cycle maximum time Allows setting maximum time granted for ignition phase. The flue gas temperature set on Pr13 must be reached within the limit time set in this parameter to change to work phase. if sufficient flue gas temperature (Pr13) is reached change to work phase is immediate, therefore we recommend keeping this parameter set at maximum value 25' (default setting).
Page 52
Pr12 Brazier cleaning duration Allows setting brazier cleaning duration time that happens after a time interval set on parameter Pr03. The wording “BRAZIER CLEANING” appears on display during cleaning phase. The value to be set depends on burnt pellet quality and hardness. It is essential to increase the set value to increase brazier cleaning duration with "hard"...

Pr21 Flue gas intake speed in power 4 work phase Allows setting the flue gas intake device speed (revs/min) when the equipment is working in POWER 4. This parameter also relates to flue gas intake device speed (revs/min) when the equipment is working in OVEN POWER 2 on SMART.If using a difficult to burn "hard"...

Pr35 Water pressure threshold (CURRENTLY UNUSED) Allows setting the pressure threshold of water inside boiler body below which an alarm is signalled. This parameter is not used as the products are not currently fitted with water pressure switch (pressure transducer). Pr36 Screw feed motor reducer ON time in DHW power work phase Allows setting the motor reducer ignition time (with 8 second intervals) when the equipment is working in...

Pr45 Power change delay Allows setting time after which the equipment changes work power during modulation (increase and decrease). The parameter is not normally modified. ON Temperature hysteresis on “SET ROOM” Pr46 Allows setting temperature differential on "SET ROOM" for equipment re-ignition. The equipment automatically switches off placing itself in “STOP FIRE T-OFF”...

14. USEFUL ADVICE Anticipate change to work phase without having to wait entire ignition cycle. Keep key 5 pressed to change directly to work phase without having to wait entire ignition cycle. The flue gas must have reached minimum temperature to change to work phase to deem stove ignited (Pr13). If not, equipment does not change to work phase.
