IMPORTANT WARNING Only one appliance may be used per flue. Notwithstanding these dimensions, stove installed in a room with no standard chimney must be provided with a hearth measuring at least 840mm x 840mm. 2.5 AIR SUPPLY A heat producing appliance shall be installed so that there is an adequate supply of air to it for combustion, to prevent overheating and for the efficient working of any flue pipe or chimney serving the appliance.
3. CONNECTION TO THE CHIMNEY All Boru Stoves are certified with a chimney draught reading of 12-14 pascals – where the chimney draught exceeds this reading we recommend a draught stabiliser be installed – please contact an accredited chimney specialist for further details.

Where the chimney is believed to have previously served an open fire installation, it is possible that the higher flue gas temperature from the stove may loosen deposits that were previously firmly adhered, with the consequent risk of flue blockage. It is therefore recommended that the chimney be swept a second time within a month of regular use after installation.
BTU requirements MUST be confirmed with an accredited installer before this stove is installed to ensure this stove is suitable for requirements. Boru Stoves and/or its authorised agents will not be responsible for an appliance which is not confirmed suitable for room and water requirements.
