The ignition system with built-in injection is an induction type. Ignition is managed based on two pa-
rameters:
• Ignition lead
• Dwell time
The ignition lead curve is optimised based on the rpm and engine load perceived by the TPS1 and
TPS2 sensors. The dwell time is optimised based on the power required by the H.T. coil. The dwell time
is optimised based on the power required by the H.T. coil.
Naturally longer dwell times are used during starting phases.
