Hi my sv440 is turning in, light goes green, I press the button and it makes the might noise but doesn't produce any steam. The troubleshooting in the manual is a real idiots guide and doesn't help.
If your POLTI Vaporetto SV440 is not producing steam despite the green light being on and noise when pressing the button, possible causes include:
1. Out of Water: The water tank may be empty. Disconnect from the mains, fill the tank, wait about 15 seconds, then try again.
2. Steam Set to Minimum: The steam adjustment knob may be set to the minimum level. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the steam flow.
