To jump-start the 12V battery in a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the Vehicles: Park the booster vehicle close to the disabled vehicle without touching. Turn off both engines.
2. Connect the Jumper Cables: - Attach one end of the red (positive) cable to the positive terminal of the discharged battery. - Connect the other end of the red (positive) cable to the positive terminal of the booster battery. - Attach one end of the black (negative) cable to the negative terminal of the booster battery. - Connect the other end of the black (negative) cable to a solid, stationary, metallic point (e.g., trunk latch) away from the battery.
3. Start the Booster Vehicle: Let it run at 2,000 RPM for a few minutes.
4. Start the Disabled Vehicle: Attempt to start the engine.
5. Remove the Cables in Reverse Order: - Remove the black (negative) cable from the metallic point. - Remove the other end from the booster battery. - Remove the red (positive) cable from the booster battery. - Remove the other end from the discharged battery.
6. Check the Vehicle: If the cause of the battery discharge is unknown, have the vehicle checked by an authorized Hyundai dealer.

How to hookup and use a booster to jump start the 12 V battery
To jump-start the 12V battery in a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the Vehicles: Park the booster vehicle close to the disabled vehicle without touching. Turn off both engines.
