8.1. Troubleshooting/FAQ

Below are some common questions to help guide you through any setup
or usage issues.
My camera isn't turning on.
Check to make sure that the micro USB connector is securely inserted
into the camera body and that the USB end is firmly connected at the
power adapter. If your camera still does not turn on, please contact
customer support.
I can't add the camera to the app.
1. Make sure that your camera is synced and ready to be added. See
Chapter 4 for more details.
2. Press and hold the RESET button on the camera until the light goes
off. The camera should reset and can be added once the indicator light
blinks red.
3. Data servers may be experiencing technical difficulties or upgrading.
Please try adding the device in the Night Owl Pro app at a later time.
The image on my mobile device/computer is upside down.
If the camera was installed upside down you can adjust the orientation
in the camera or remote view settings by going to the settings,
Conditions > Flip and enabling that function.
