Overview SECUDRIVE USB Basic is a secure USB flash drive embedded with the AES 256-bit crypto chip. This product does not require administrator privileges or software installation on the PC, making it available on public PCs at places such as schools, and internet cafes.
SECUDRIVE USB Basic runs with user rights and does not require administrator privileges. High end data read and write performance SECUDRIVE USB Basic adopts the AES 256-bit hardware crypto chip for higher performance in data reading and writing. Supported on 64bit operation systems SECUDRIVE USB Basic runs on Windows XP, Vista and 7 for both 32-bit and 64-bit.

Running the Login Program Manually License agreement or the login window automatically displays when SECUDRIVE USB Basic is connected to PC. If either the license agreement or the login window does not appear, you should manually run the login program.

At your first use of the product, you should set up your login password to access the secure zone. The password must be more than 6 alphanumeric characters. Next, it will ask you to enter optional information about the USB drive. Enter any additional drive information you wish to enter and click Next.

In this window, you can setup your Auto-lock feature. This will automatically lock and logout of your USB device after the specified time of inactivity. This is the setup completion window. After selecting Finish, you will be prompted to enter your password to login to the device.

The password prompt to login to SECUDRIVE USB Basic is displayed below. Enter the configured password and click OK to login. To execute the device in read-only mode, check Mount secure zone read-only and login. If there are 10 consecutive incorrect password attempts, the saved data will be permanently erased.

When you have successfully logged in, you will see a removable disk called SECUDRIVE as follows. This is the secure zone and all the data will be encrypted by AES 256-bit crypto chip and saved into this area. The login program will be displayed as an icon in the system tray as follows.

Once installed, the vaccine program initiates when USB flash drive is logged in and the icon is displayed in the system tray. The program terminates when the USB flash drive is logged out. The vaccine program runs for 1 year from the date of agreement. After 1 year, it stops operation. To continue Trend Micro USB Security service, the user should purchase the license update tool and extend the period.
Auto Logout settings: Automatically lock the device when keyboard and mouse is not in use for a designated time. Information: Either enter the user information or view SECUDRIVE information. Help: Display the user guide of the product. You need PDF viewers on your PC to open the file.

Auto Logout Settings Right click on the tray icon and select Auto Logout Settings. If keyboard and mouse is not in use for a designated time period, the secure zone will lock. Here, you can set your SECUDRIVE USB Basic to update automatically. Selecting Yes will keep the program most up to date. You can also select No and manually check for updates on the SECUDRIVE website.

User PC It is a person who uses SECUDRIVE USB Basic. Secure Area It is saved data area of SECUDRIVE USB BASIC. A user can only access this area by executing the login program with the correct password input. CD Area CD area Is displayed automatically when connecting SECUDRIVE USB Basic to the PC.
