    HOW TO USE INSERTING THE MEMORY CARD Insert the memory card to it’s slot. Ensure the orientation is correct, if it stuck do not force it to avoid dam- aging the memory card and the camera. Press until you hear the click noise. Note: Choose a good quality class-10 or UHS-1 memory card to ensure compatibility INSERTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY Open the battery cover.

    SETTINGS ENTERING THE SETTINGS To enter the settings menu, press the power button to change modes until it enters the settings menu. Use the “UP” and “Down” button for navigation, and shutter button to enter the sub-menu or confirm. VIDEO RESOLUTION This option is for changing the video resolution on video mode.

    PHOTO RESOLUTION This option is form changing the photo size in photo mode and on burst mode. B-PRO5 Alpha PLUS has the following photo resolution available: 16M(4608x3456 4:3) - 14M (4254x3264 4:3) - 12M (4000x3000 4:3) - 8M (3264x2448 4:3) - 5M (2560x1920 4:3) - 3M (2048x1536 4:3) - 2M (1920x1080 16:9) - 1.2M (1280x960 4:3) - VGA (640x480 4:3) Note1: For photo with wide 16:9 aspect ratio, please set it to 2M.

    Super Fine - Fine - Normal Note: The higher the photo quality, the bigger the file. FOV (FIELD OF VIEW) This option is used for changing the field of view on both video and photo mode, the options are as follows: Wide - Medium - Narrow Note: Set it to wide FOV to get the fisheye effect.

    BURST This option is to set how many photos that will be taken on burst mode. The amount of photos that can be taken are as follows: 3 Photo/shot - 5 Photo/shot - 10 Photo/shot - 20 Photo/shot AUTO SHOOT This option is for activating the auto-shoot function on photo mode.

    VIDEO STAMP This option is for showing the date and time stamp on the videos taken in video mode. PHOTO STAMP This option is for showing the date and time stamp on the photos taken in photo and burst mode. LOOP RECORDING This option is for activating the loop-recording function on B-PRO5 Alpha Plus.

    MOTION DETECT This function if turned on will make B-PRO5 Alpha Plus unit to automatically start recording a video when its sensor detects any kind of motion. The sensro sensitivity can be set with the following options: Off - Low - Medium - High STATUS LED This option is for configuring the indicator lights on the B-PRO5 Alpha Plus.
  • Page 16 WiFi LED This option is for configuring the WiFI light indicator, whether it will be active or not when the WiFi is active. Note: WiFi indicator light is the red light on the front face of the camera. This option is for configuring the information shown on the LCD display If this option are activated, the information such as battery, photo/video reso- lution, etc will be shown on video, photo and burst mode.

    DELAY OFF This option is to make B-PRO5 Alpha Plus keep recording for a set amount of time before the unit is turned off automatically. The set amount of time that can be chosen are as follows: Off - 5 sec - 10 sec - 15 sec - 30 sec - 60 sec Note: This function will only work when Auto DVR is active.

    IMAGE ROTATE This option when turned on will make the video/photo recording rotated 180° automatically, use only this function if B-PRO5 Alpha Plus needed to be used on upside-down postion. VOLUME MIC This option os for changing the volume level on the microphone, starting from OFF to 100%.

    TIME SETUP Date and time will automatically synchronize when B-PRO5 Alpha Plus is con- nected with a smartphone using WiFi. To change the date and time manually: Choose “Time Setup” in settings. Use the “up” and “down” button to change the value, and the shutter button to change the field.

    AUTO SHUTDOWN This option is used for power conservation by turning the camera off com- pletely after a set amount of time. There are 4 options : OFF - 1 Min - 3 Min - 5 Min. Note: This function will not work if the camera is currently recording or taking photo using the au- to-shoot function.

The ISO level that can be chosen are as follows: Auto - 100 - 200 - 400 - 800 - 1600 Note: The higher the ISO number the image sensor will be more sensitive, but will cause more noise on the image result, for optimal result it’s best to leave the ISO settings at Auto.
  • Page 22 BEEP This option is used to turn on/off the “Beep” sound effect that are heard during camera operation or when accessing the settings menu. WiFi This option is for turning on/off the WiFi via settings. WiFi can also be turned on/off by pressing the shutter button for +/- 5seconds in video/photo/burst mode.

    WiFi PASSWORD To change the WiFi password, do the following steps: Choose “WiFi Password” on settings. Use the “Up” and “Down” button to change the value and shutter button to navigate to the next field. After changing the value on the final field, press the shutter button to accept the changes.

    DEFAULT SETTING This option is used to revert all the cahnges on the settings back to it’s default state set from the factory. To reset, choose “Default setting” on seettings menu, and then choose the “O” for confirmation when the confirmation dialog is shown. Note: This option only resets the settings and will not delete any file or data on the memory card.
