Press REC/PLAY key.
Capstan motor turns
counterclockwise.
Picture appears.
Slow brake

Press FF key.
Set capstan motor to search
speed.

PLAY STILL
Press STILL key.
Loading motor turns in
counterclockwise direction
and master cam clockwise.
Pinch
roller

Slow brake comes into
contact with capstan motor.
Cam switch is at STILL
position.
Idler
swinging
Loading motor stops.
Capstan motor stops.

Pinch
roller
pressing
REC/PLAY STOP
Press STOP key.
Capstan motor turns in
reverse direction.
Stop capstan motor.

PLAY VSR
Press REW key.
Loading motor turns
clockwise and master
cam counterclockwise.
Release pinch roller.
Cam switch is at PU2 position.
Stop loading motor.
Turn capstan motor in
reverse direction.
Loading motor turns clockwise.
Release the supply auxiliary
brake.
Cam switch is at PU1 position.
Turn loading motor
counterclockwise.
Press pinch roller.
Cam switch is at VSR
position.
Stop loading motor.
Set capstan motor to search
speed.
NO
Is take-up reel sensor signal
outputted ?
YES

VSR PLAY
Press PLAY Key.
Loading motor turns counter-
clockwise and master cam
clockwise.
Capstan motor turns
counterclockwise. PB speed.
Cam switch is at PB position.
End
