VCR SERVO CIRCUIT ADJUSTMENT
Note: The procedure of the adjustments is HEAD SWITCHING POINT
ADJUSTMENT OF HEAD SWITCHING POINT
1. Playback the alignment tape. (VROATSV)
2. Press both REC key and VOL-DOWN key on the front panel more than 2 seconds to turn the unit into the adjustment
mode. (PROGRAM TIMER LED is lighting and "T" is displayed on the monitor screen.)
3. Press PLAY key.
4. Automatically head switching point adjustment is started, and the unit will be back to PB mode after the adjustment
is finished.(PROGRAM TIMER LED is putting out)
5. Press STOP key.
ADJUSTMENT OF SLOW TRACKING PRESET
1. Playback SP and EP mode self recorded tape.
2. Playback SP mode recorded portion at slow mode.
3. Press both REC key and VOL-DOWN key on the front panel more than 2 seconds to turn the unit into the
adjustment mode. (PROGRAM TIMER LED is lighting and "T" is displayed on the monitor screen.)
4. Press SLOW key.
5. Automatically adjustment start, and the unit will be back to slow mode after the adjustment is finished. (PROGRAM
TIMER LED is putting out).
6. To check the still noise, push PLAY key and then STILL key.
7. Next playback EP mode recorded portion at slow mode.
8. As same as 2-6 items, adjust EP mode slow tracking preset and EP mode noise.
ADJUSTMENT OF FV (False Vertical Sync) OF STILL PICTURE
1. Play a cassette which was self-recorded by the unit in SP mode.
2. Press the PAUSE/STILL button to freeze the picture.
3. Look at the monitor screen and adjust the TRACKING (+) and / or (–) buttons so that the vertical jitter of the picture
is minimized.
4. Play and freeze the self-recorded tape in EP mode and make sure the vertical jitter of the picture is not noticeable.

→ FV of STILL PICTURE
