    HN6 Quick Start Guide Safety While Travelling While the Hema HN6 NAVIGATOR is a valuable aid for navigation, it is only that - an aid - and as such should not be used as a replacement for hard-copy maps and other traditional navigational aids while travelling, especially in remote areas.

     Only use the original 12/24V car adapter supplied with the Hema HN6 NAVIGATOR. Use of nonstandard parts or accessories may result in malfunctions and/or severely damage the device and may void your warranty.

    HN6 Quick Start Guide Cleaning the Unit The Hema HN6 NAVIGATOR casing can be cleaned using a cloth slightly dampened with water and a mild detergent and then wiped dry. Care must be taken not to let moisture into the speaker holes or any of the ports, jacks and slots on the device.

    Caravan Parks Australia Wide Books The 4WD navigation system features OziExplorer software, which is what makes the Hema HN6 NAVIGATOR different. It does not work in the same way as the usual "street only" GPS units and software. The basic concept is that you have an electronic map image, which is almost identical to the existing paper maps published by Hema.

    Hema HN6 Quick Start Guide Resetting the HN6 Locate the RESET button on the back of the device (the reset button is labelled clearly). Gently press the reset button with the tip of your stylus for around 1 second. The unit will power off.

    HN6 Quick Start Guide PC Connectivity The HN6 connects to your PC using the Mini-USB port located on the side panel. Treat the USB port with care. Make sure that the plug is around the right way, and do not force the plug into the socket when connecting the cable.

    Bluetooth Bluetooth is a wireless technology which enables the transmission of voice and data over a short distance. The Hema HN6 NAVIGATOR is able to be paired with a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone to make or receive phone calls. Transmits the audio signal from the NAVIGATOR to an FM radio receiver (car radio) in your vehicle on the specified frequency.

    Hema HN6 Quick Start Guide Street Nav Introduction To begin street navigation, tap the STREET button from the NAVIGATOR main menu. The iGo Primo 2 navigation application is used primarily for navigating within populated areas and has the ability to perform auto-routing and location searching.

    Hema HN6 Quick Start Guide Map Screen Options during Navigation During navigation, the map screen displays a number of pieces of information and indicators. These are only visible when navigating to a destination, or along a route. If displayed, the Menu button will take you to the Navigation Menu.

    Hema HN6 Quick Start Guide Using the Find button Tap the Find button from the main menu to enter the Find Menu. The Find Menu contains a number of buttons and displays. Tap Find Address button to specify an address as your destination.

Tap the Favourites button to choose from your list of saved favourite locations as your destination. The ability to navigate to a photo location depends on the image file containing location data. This data may be present by the image having being captured by a camera equipped with an in-built GPS, which records the location that the image was taken, and embeds it within the digital image file.
