    DK40 Configuration This chapter explains how to configure a Strata DK40 system. It also provides space to record the hardware and station devices that make up the system. Base Key Service Unit (KSU) Station and Exchange Lines The DK40 Base KSU can have up to eight digital telephone stations and four exchange lines (Table 1-1).

    DK40 Installation This chapter explains how to install the Strata DK40 system. It includes information on site requirements, wiring diagrams, and step-by-step instructions on how to install the unit(s), the ground wiring, AC power cabling, reserve power (battery backup) cabling, and PCB cabling.

    9 CCS per station system-wide AC Power and Earthing Requirements The Strata DK40 requires an earth connection back to the main distribution point for proper operation and safety. Failure to provide this earth may be a safety hazzard or lead to confusing fault, or operational symptoms and,in extreme cases, system failure.
