LOCK
n Thin Provisioning Space Reclamation
This function enables ESX Server to monitor the space usage by virtual machines while
synchronizing with storage with thin provisioning. Previously when moving virtual machines, disk
space for virtual machines could not be freed. With the VAAI function, the disk space can be freed.
This makes it easier to operate/manage virtual machines in a thin provisioning environment.
