2. Please notice that the fence (F) is only in a precise right angle when the
handle is tightened all the way.
3. The mitre gauge fence (I) is connected to the rotating mitre gauge (J). To
adjust the fence, (I) just loosen the connecting screws. Position the fence
as desired, but make sure it cannot hit the saw blade.
4. Turn the mitre gauge to the desired position and fix the fence by tightening
the screw.
Changing the Saw Blade
Damaged saw blades must be replaced immediately. Before
undertaking any work on the machine, pull the power plug and
always wear working gloves when handling the saw blade!
1. To change the saw blade, first remove the blade guard (H) and the red
table insert (C). Now move the saw blade up as far as possible. The saw
blade is mounted to the driveshaft with in inner and an outer flange. The
flanges are tightened by a nut.

this nut (mentioned as B

right
Between nut and flange
is a disc (mentioned as A
in the right picture), by
means of which you can
lock the driveshaft in
place when loosening the
nut (B).
3. Normal spanners are often too thick to use here, use the included open
end spanner (part no. 19). Hold the disc (A) with one spanner and loosen
the nut (B) with the other spanner. The nut opens in the rotating direction
of the saw blade. After nut and disc have been removed, the flanges and
the saw blade can be taken off the shaft.
It is advisable to use this opportunity to clean flanges and driveshaft. Make
sure the new saw blade corresponds to the technical data given in this
manual.
The rotation direction arrow on the new saw blade must point forward,
corresponding to the arrow on the blade guard.
