Replacing the display assembly

Procedure

1 Place the palm rest and keyboard assembly on the display assembly.
2 Using the alignment posts, press the display hinges down on the palm
rest and keyboard assembly.
3 Replace the screws that secure the display hinges to the palm rest and
keyboard assembly.
4 Route the display cable through the routing guides on the palm rest and
keyboard.
5 Slide the display cable to the connector on the system board and close
the latch to secure the cable.
6 Slide the battery cable to the connector on the system board.
