The camera does not operate even when the po_e_ switch is
set to <ON>.
The battery is not properly installed inthe camera (p26)
¢ Rechargethe battery (p.24)
Make sure the battery compartment cover is closed. (p.26)
® Make sure the card slot cover is closed. (p.31)
¢ Press the < DISFt> button. (p.42)
The access !amp sti_J b!inks even when the power switch is
set to <OhC>.
If the power is cut offwhJle an image is being recorded to the card, the
access lamp wJl$ light/blink for a few sec. After the image is recorded to
the card, the camera turns off automatically
The battery becomes exhausted quicMy.
Use a fully-charged battery (p24)
¢ The rechargeable battery will degrade after repeated use. Purchase a
Rew one.
The camera turns off by itself=
Auto power off is in effect If you do not want auto power off to take
effect, set the [_¢" Auto power off] menu to [Off]
¢ Even if [r£ _ Auto power off] has been set to [Off], the LCD monitor will
turn off after the camera is idle for 30 rain. Press the <DISR> button to
turn on the LCD monitor
