Upgrading and migrating Reattach the access cover. Connect the power cord to the electrical outlet, and then turn on the printer. CAUTION—POTENTIAL INJURY: To avoid the risk of fire or electrical shock, connect the power cord to an appropriately rated and properly grounded electrical outlet that is near the product and easily accessible.

Touch a metal surface on the printer before touching any controller board components or connectors. Unpack the hard disk. Attach the hard disk to the controller board. Upgrading and migrating If an internal solutions port (ISP) is installed, then do the following: Remove the hard disk bracket. Attach the hard disk to the ISP.

Upgrading and migrating Note: If optional trays are already installed, then unlock them from the printer before lifting the printer. Do not try to lift the printer and trays at the same time. Align the printer with the optional tray, and then lower the printer until it clicks into place. Connect the power cord to the printer, and then to the electrical outlet.
