A small diameter pot or pan placed on a large burner does not necessarily mean that boiling
conditions are reached quicker.

The surface burners used on this unit range from 2,500 BTU to 8,800 BTU on
natural gas installation under 2,000 feet above sea level. Burner strength is de-
rated by 4% per 1000 feet.

USING THE OVEN FOR THE FIRST TIME
It is advised to follow these instructions

Insert shelves and broiler grid and tray

Turn the oven on to the maximum temperature position (500F) to burn off and eliminate possible
traces of grease from the oven burner.

Unplug the power cord, let the oven cool down, then clean the interior of the oven with cloth
soaked in water and detergent (neutral) then dry carefully.

how do i get gas burners to light without using a match. two of the 4 burners lights automatically but the front two do not.
To light the gas burners on an Avanti GRO20P0W automatically:
1. Push and turn the knob counterclockwise to the HI flame position.
2. Push in and hold the knob until the flame lights. The internal igniter will create sparks to light the burner.
3. If the burner does not light at HI, try again with the knob in the Low flame position.
4. Once lit, adjust the knob to the desired flame setting.
To re-light, turn the knob to OFF and repeat the steps.
