    GERM DEFENSE HUMIDIFIER FEATURES CRANE’S GERM DEFENSE Crane’s Germ Defense humidifiers are embedded with small natural antimicrobial silver particles into the water tank and water basin to help fight the growth of bacteria, viruses and mold. This technology ensures that the humidifier disperses a clean, hygienic mist.

    DIGITAL CONTROL PANEL INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: Use on/off button to reset the humidifier. ON/OFF- Switch humidifier on/off by pressing this button. TIMER – The lower bar of numbers on the digital display are for the timer. You can set the timer for 1- 12 hours or C for continuous run up to 24 hours. There are 4 numbers on the digital screen (1,2,4,5).
  • Page 8 ASSEMBLY ALWAYS use fresh cool water when operating the humidifier. 1. Turn Water Tank upside down and unscrew Water Tank Cap. 2. Fill Water Tank with cool water. DO NOT fill water all the way to the rim. DO NOT CARRY FULL WATER TANK BY HANDLE. ALWAYS HOLD FULL WATER TANK WITH TWO HANDS.

    A NOTE ABOUT HUMIDITY It is best to keep the humidity level at about 40%-50% of relative humidity. § In cold weather, windows and even some walls may fog or develop frost from § excessive indoor humidity. If this occurs, reduce the mist output setting to avoid damage from condensed water dripping onto windowsills.
