I replace my battery on my 2018 1200 super tenure, how do I get my digital fuel gauge to read and how many miles to fill up

To reset the digital fuel gauge on a 2018 Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z after replacing the battery:

1. Turn the key to the "ON" position.
2. Ensure the transmission is in neutral and the vehicle is stopped.
3. Wait for the average fuel consumption display to begin flashing.
4. While it is flashing, press and hold the “RESET” button for at least 2 seconds.

This will reset the fuel consumption display. There is no specific reset needed for the fuel gauge itself; it should update automatically based on the fuel level.
