No steam is emitted
when the steam
cleaner is on.
Only a very small
amount of steam
flows out of the
steam cleaner.
Unit still does not

an electrical outlet or
is not switched on.
The socket is faulty.
The power cable is
damaged.
The water tank is
empty.
The steam nozzle is
blocked.
Despite the green
light, the steam
switch is not activat-

inside the tank is not
in the correct
(immersed) position.
The steam regulator
is set to minimum.
Check all the above
points.

and switch the steam
cleaner on.
Check the socket by
unplugging the steam

Fill the water tank.

Press down the steam
switch fully.
Shake the steam
cleaner gently.
Turn the steam con-
troller until sufficient
steam is emitted.

The water in the tank is not connecting to the steamer when I put water in nothing come out. I clean the tip and took out the spring and clean it

The water may not be flowing from the tank to the Oreck STEAM-IT STEAM100 steamer due to the following reasons:

1. The water tank is empty—Fill the water tank.

3. The steam switch is not fully pressed—Press down the steam switch fully.
4. The weighted tube inside the tank is not in the correct (immersed) position—Shake the steam cleaner gently.
