    Fuse Service Interval/Specification The electrical system is protected by fuses. They are located beneath the hood, near the fuel tank (Fig. 24). No maintenance is required, however, if a fuse blows check the circuit wiring for a short. To replace a fuse, pull up to remove it from the socket. Push down to insert it.

    Battery Service Interval/Specification Check the electrolyte level in the battery before each use. Always keep the battery clean and fully charged. Use a paper towel to clean the battery and battery box. If the battery terminals are corroded, clean them with a solution of four parts water and one part baking soda.
