    UNPACKING REMOVE ALL THE PARTS FROM THE BOX Your saw is fully assembled in the carton ASSEMBLY No assembly required. We recommend you mount the saw on a stable bench. ADJUSTMENTS ALIGN THE BEVEL INDICATOR 1. The bevel indicator has been factory adjusted. It should be rechecked prior to use for best operation.

    ADJUSTING THE DUST BLOWER For best results, the dust blower tube should be adjusted to direct air at both the blade and the workpiece. SAWDUST COLLECTION This scroll saw allows a hose or vacuum accessory (not provided) to be connected to the sawdust collection port (fig 4). If excessive sawdust buildup occurs inside the base, use a wet/dry vacuum cleaner or manually remove sawdust by removing the screws and metal plate on the left side of the saw.

    BASIC OPERATION POWER SOURCE CONNECTION POWER REQUIREMENTS This tool is designed to operate on a properly grounded 120 volt, 60 Hz, single phase alternating current (AC) power source fused with a 15 amp time delayed circuit breaker. It is recommended that a qualified electrician verify the ACTUAL VOLTAGE at the receptacle into which the tool will be plugged and confirm that the receptacle is properly grounded.

    When cutting thicker wood, feed the wood very slowly into the blade and take extra care not to bend or twist the blade while cutting, to maximize blade life. 6. Scroll saw blade teeth wear out and the blades must be replaced frequently for best cutting results.
