information.

Location Services

The Location services settings allow you to set up how the
device will determine your location and the sensor settings
for your device.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Location services.
2. Touch any of the following options to create a check
mark and activate the service:
• Location: Allows apps that have asked your
permission to use your location information. Touch the
OFF/ON button to turn it ON

• E911: View only field. You cannot turn off E911
Location on any cell phone.
• Mode: Select the mode for Location services. Choose
from:
High accuracy: Use GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile
networks.
Power saving: Use Wi-Fi and mobile networks.
GPS only: Uses GPS only to estimate your location.
• Recent location requests: See which applications
request your location.
• Location services: See location services are active
and configure your settings.
• My Places: Set your favorite locations for quick
reference with any applications that require location
information.
