    Unison Research Unico Secondo 2. INSTALLAZIONE L’amplificatore deve sempre essere sistemato in un posto sicuro, fuori della portata dei bambini ed è necessario assicurargli un’adeguata ventilazione ed evitare di esporlo ad elevate temperature ed umidità. Le valvole sono già posizionate all’interno dell’apparecchio.

    6. FUNZIONE DEI LED L’Unico Secondo è provvisto di due led che forniscono all’utilizzatore importanti informazioni sullo stato operativo dell’amplificatore; indichiamo con LED1 il led in prossimità della manopola del selettore degli ingressi e con LED2 quello vicino al potenziometro.

LA SCHEDA PHONO Nell’ Unico Secondo può essere installata una scheda phono dedicata, che si compone di due stadi attivi per canale, con la sezione RIAA di tipo attivo per le basse frequenze, e passivo per le alte frequenze. Con tale soluzione, frutto di lunghe prove e test di ascolto, le note basse risultano profonde e smorzate, e le alte frequenze sono limpide e non “graffianti”.
  • Page 7 Unison Research Unico Secondo 10. PRECAUZIONI SICUREZZA MANUTENZIONE Non far funzionare l’amplificatore con il fondo o la calotta rimossi! L’unità presenta al suo interno alte tensioni che possono essere causa di danni anche gravi. Non aprire l’apparecchio! Nessun ulteriore intervento oltre a quelli descritti in questo manuale deve essere effettuato dall’utilizzatore.

    = -) Loudspeaker connection - Bi-Wiring The Unico Secondo is equipped with twin pairs of loudspeaker output terminals. If your loudspeakers are equipped with twin pairs of input terminals this will enable you to connect the amplifier to the loudspeakers using the bi-wiring method.

    Always replace fuses with new ones of the same type and value ! OPERATION Warning! Switch on the Unico Secondo only after all the input and output connections (including loudspeaker connections) have been made and checked !

  • Page 14 THE PHONO BOARD Inside the Unico Secondo there is a dedicated phono board. This consists of two active gain stages for each channel and an RIAA equalisation stage which is active for the low frequencies and passive for the high frequencies.
  • Page 15 PRECAUTIONS Never operate the amplifier with either the bottom or top covers removed. High voltages are present within the Unico Secondo, which could cause severe electric shock. Do not open the amplifier ! There are no user adjustments inside, and none other than those described in this manual.
  • Page 16 Unison Research Unico Secondo Use a soft dry cloth. Do not use solvents or alcohol-based detergents. Do not rub hard on the screen-printed legends on the top cover. Never operate the amplifier when covered! Adequate ventilation is essential at all times!
