Screen Lock Options
The following options display depending
on the screen lock type.
•
Show information: Show the dual
clock, or information such as the
weather information, on the lock screen.
•
Unlock effect: Set the visual effect
used when unlocking the screen.
Available for Swipe only.
•
Secure lock settings: Set your
secure lock functions such as Lock
automatically, Lock instantly with Power
key, and Smart lock. Not available for
Swipe.

Make pattern visible: Display the
pattern as you draw it.

Lock automatically: Screen is
locked five seconds after the screen
automatically turns off.

Lock instantly with power key:
Screen locks instantly when locked
with the power key.
—
Smart Lock: Set your phone to stay
unlocked when you have trusted
devices connected or when it's in a
trusted place.
Settings

Device Security

Configure security for your phone.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings.
2. Tap Lock screen and security >
Device security.
3. Tap ON/OFF next to KNOX active
protection on your phone.
Find My Mobile
Protect your device from loss or theft
allowing your device to be locked, tracked,
and for your data to be deleted remotely.
► To access your device remotely, visit
findmymobile.samsung.com.
Note: You must sign up for a Samsung
account and enable Google location service
to use Find My Mobile.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Settings.
2. Tap Lock screen and security > Find
My Mobile.

If you are not logged in to your
Samsung account, tap Add account
and follow the prompts.
