Inserting the batteries  Open the battery compartment on the underside of the appliance.  Insert four 1.5V batteries of type R6/LR6/AA (included), observing the correct polarity.  Close the battery compartment.  Basic settings must be made after changing the batteries.

Putting on the cuff Before attaching the cuff to take a measurement, clean your arm with a soft cloth soaked with surgical spirit containing 75% alcohol. The BC 1000 cuff is the application part and is suitable for an arm circumference of 22 cm to 36 cm.
