Corrective Action
Use target plate or change
target surface.
Target too reflective, use target plate
or change target surface.
Reduce background light on
target area.
Remove obstacle and repeat
measurement.
Replace batteries.
Allow device to cool to
operating temperature.
Allow device to warm up to
operating temperature.
Switch on/off device several times.
If error cannot be cleared
return defective instrument to
Service Center or distributor.
