GENERAL
INFORMATION
•
Older LVI products must not be connected as slave/
master with this product.
•
A maximum number of 10 slaves can be connected.
RADIATORS CONNECTED TO AN EXTERNAL
THERMOSTAT OR BMS
•
When using an external thermostat which controls the
room temperature, set the comfort temperature, dial B (Fig
5) to "6" and the reduced mode temperature, dial D (Fig.
5) to "-15". Connect the radiator according to fig. 4 in such
way that pin 3 is open when the radiator should emit heat
and connected to Neutral when the radiator should not
emit heat.
PLEASE NOTE:
Radiators must be connected as masters in this case. Each
and every radiator must also be defined as master in the
parameter menu.
PLEASE NOTE:
Do not connect an external thermostat directly to pin 1 or
2 as this will shorten the life time of the radiator.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
•
The switch (E, Picture 5) at the bottom of the control
panel can be used to limit the output (surface
temperature) of the heating element in the front panel.
90°C MAX
If you wish to use the radiator permanently at max. 60
°C or 75 °C, the following correction factors should be
applied for the output..
| 44
75°C MAX
60°C MAX
E SWITCH
SURFACE TEMP.
60°C max
75°C max
90°C max
E.g. a 1,000 Watt single-panel with the E switch on the
75°C position will deliver max. 700 Watts. A 1,000 Watt
double panel with the E switch on the 60°C position will
deliver max. 800 Watts. These values should be considered
when selecting the number and type of panels to cover the
calculated heat losses.
•
Two LED indicators (A and C, Fig 5) indicate the working
mode of the radiator.
LED A
GREEN
Radiator switched on
RED

RED BLINKING

LED C (only when external programmer connected)

4. MAINTENANCE, REPAIR
AND DISPOSAL
• WARNING: Disconnect the power supply before carrying
out any maintenance.
• The product should be cleaned using a soft damp cloth.
Do NOT use chemical or abrasive cleaners as they will
damage the surface finish.
• The radiator is equipped with overheat protection that
cannot be reset (melt fuse). This overheat protection
disconnects the current if the radiator becomes too hot
(e.g. when covered).
• A damaged power cord must be replaced, in order to
avoid risks, by the manufacturer, service agent or by a
qualified person.
