    Operating instructions Installing or Removing Battery Pack (See Fig.1 Fig.2) Always switch off the machine before insertion or removal of the battery pack. To remove the battery pack, push the button on the battery pack and pull the tool unit from the battery pack in the direction.(See Fig.1.) Fig 1 To insert the battery pack, align the tool unit slides with the battery pack sliding groove and push the tool unit into place.
  • Page 8 LED indication Function The Battery Pack has a “SW” button and 4-step green LEDs for indicating remaining capacity status and Over temperature condition. The remaining capacity (RC) and temperature protection status green LED indications POWER INDICATION (3 seconds) when the “SW” button is momentarily pressed.     Tool operation Installing Or Removing Socket Always be sure that the machine is switched off and the battery pack is removed before installing or removing the socket. Caution Fig. 1 To install the socket, push the socket into the driving spindle as far as it will go.
  • Page 10 Replacement of the carbon brush Replace the carbon brush while the motor is not rotated and the carbon brush is run out. (Replace the motor after the carbon brush has been replaced 2–3 times) Replacement procedure is as follows: Loose the carbon brush panel counterclockwise by using a screwdriver (Fig.1) Take out the carbon brush (Fig.2) Put the new carbon brush and carbon brush panel back into the housing in proper order (Fig.3) Lock the carbon brush panel back clockwise by using a screwdriver (Fig.
