Inserting/Changing Batteries

Before you fi rst use the device, the batteries supplied with the
product must be inserted.
Replace the batteries in good time when the power of the
device starts to become weaker. You require 2 x 1.5 V batteries
of the AA type.
The device must be switched off before you replace the batter-
ies (move switch to position 0).

1. Rotate the battery compartment cover
by 90° to the left and remove it from
the device.

2. Insert the batteries into the battery
compartment. Pay attention to the cor-
rect polarity (+/-), (see diagram on the
back of the device above the battery
compartment).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover
and turn it so that it shuts.
