Connectivity options Connectivity options Headphones On the left below the keyboard you find headphone jacks. If you plug a stereo headphones (not supplied) into headphone socket 2, the speakers are muted so that you can hear the sound only from the headphones. Switching on / off and basic operation 7.2.3 Beats With this function you can set the beats in a range from 0 to 9. Use [FUNCTION] to switch to ‘Beat’ menu. The current setting appears on the display. Operating 16 voices can be called via direct selection buttons. Two voices are assigned to each direct selection button. With the first keystroke you activate the voice that is speci‐ fied above the button, with the second keystroke you activate the voice that is speci‐ fied below the button. -

Operating 8.6.4 Accompaniment track volume You can adjust the style volume via the volume of the Auto Accompaniment. Press [ACC. VOL +] or [ACC. VOL – ] to set the volume. Press [ACC. VOL +] and [ACC. VOL –] simultaneously to mute the accompani‐ ment track. -

Operating 8.10 Chord detection By default, the ‘Auto Bass Chord’ (A.B.C.) is disabled. Press [A.B.C. / MELODY OFF] to enable the function. The area to the left of the split point is already known as the chord area. Operating 8.11 Mixer This menu is used to adjust the volume of the various style elements and instrument voices. Press [MIXER] to open the Mixer menu. By default, the option ‘Drum Vol’ appears. Repeatedly press the button [MIXER] to select the desired option (see chart). Use the buttons [+] or [–] or the jog dial to select the desired value. -
