    getting started Setting up your microwave oven Do not operate your oven if it is damaged. Place the drive shaft into the circular recess in the oven floor. You may need to rotate it slightly until it fits to the coupling correctly and slides down all the way. Place the turntable roller ring into the recess in the oven floor.

Always place the food in a microwave-proof dish. Arrange the food with the thickest areas to the outside of the dish. Cook for the shortest indicated time but do not under-cook.

Small, smooth pieces can be used to cover thin parts of meat or poultry to prevent overcooking. Arcing can occur if the foil is too close to the oven walls.
