Upgrading the software in the LP530

To upgrade the LP500/530 software, you need the M1-A cable (210-0185-xx) that ships with the
projector. You also need to download the software (page 69) and install the software on your computer
(page 70).
Special Note Before you begin the software upgrade process, make sure that you have properly loaded
into your computer the system software and drivers included in the software you
downloaded from the InFocus web site. Otherwise the upgrade will not work.
Connect the projector to the computer with the M1-A cable
1 Plug the M1-A cable into the projector and computer as shown in the illustration below. You don't
need to plug in the monitor cable.
2 Plug the power cord into the projector and into a power source.
Now you're ready to upgrade the software.
