Part numbers

The part number for a replacement FBWC module is: 534916-B21
If replacing this module does not resolve the problem, it may be necessary to replace the RAID
controller card. See the appropriate chapter for your RAID card for more information about
replacement procedures and part numbers.

Identifying the battery/flash capacitor module failure

Module failures are reported in the Log and, if you have email alerts set up, you will be notified
of any failure. The following example illustrates an alert for a failed RAID battery:

HP D2D4312, D2D4106 and D2D41 12

The status of the cache module is also reported on the Summary and Storage-RAID pages of the
Web Management Interface.
The HP D2D41 12 and the HP D2D4106 have one battery only.
The HP D2D4312 has three flash capacitor modules; one for each RAID card. The Summary page
shows that there is a flash capacitor module, but does not identify the card to which it belongs.
Look at the Storage-RAID page to identify the card. The P410i card is identified as internal; the
two P41 1 (HP D2D4312) cards are identified by their slot location.
