The maximum adjustable volume can be
de-
fined
individually
for
SPEAKERS
A,
SPEAK-
ERS B. PREAN/P
and
PHONES
The
following
procedure
must
be
followed
for
each
of
the
outputs.
The other outputs should
be switched
off.

is
switched
on the
adjustment
is
made
for
SPEAKERS

Switch on the output
to
be
adjusted by pres-
sing
the corresponding
key (for PHONES
[18]
all outputs must be
switched
off).
When you
press
the
IVAX
VOLUME
l22l
key,
the
input
mode
is
activated. This
is
signalled
on
the
LC
display
l2al
bv
a
bargraph symbol
for the current setting and the message MAX
VOLUME
flashes.
The
two
arrows polnt
to
PROGRAM
and
PHONES
or
SPEAKERS.
The
desired maximum volume
can
now
be
set
with
the
VOLUI\4E
+
[2]
and VOLUN/E
-
[3]
keys.
When
you
press
the
STORE
[36]
key,
the vo-
lume setting
is
stored
as
the maximum
avail
able volume
for the
corresponding
speaker
group.
A
higher volume can
only
be
achieved by
in-
creasing the MAX
VOLUI\4E
according
to
the
foregoing
procedure.
The MAX
VOLUME
and
PWR
ON
VOLUIVIE
settings
made
by
the
factory
prior to
shipment
of
the unit
can be
reestablished
at any
time
as
follows:
Repeatedly
press
the MAX VOLUME
l22lkey
until
the
message
RESTORE
NOMINAL?
be-
comes visible on the
LC
display
[15]
and the
flashing
message MAX VOLUIVE NON/INAL
appears
on
the
LC
display
i241.
When you
press
the
STORE
[36]
key at this
point. the factory settings are reprogrammed
for
all outputs.
