2.4.4 Connecting the navigation device to a PC When you connect the NAVIGON 13xx | 23xx to your computer for the first time, the operating system will try to install a driver for the device. You must stop this happening. Make all settings as shown in the following illustrations.

As soon as the navigation device has been switched on, initialisation of the GPS receiver will begin. The integrated GPS receiver is not initialised for the first time until the navigation application is started for the first time. It can take up to 20 minutes to initialise the GPS receiver for the first time.
