Alarm Clock
AC CONNECTION
Insert a plug by aligning and then sliding the plug on. Remove using tweezers and slide off.
Insert the small end of the AC adapter into the DC IN jack x. Connect the other end to a 100V to 240V wall outlet.
NOTES:
• Only use the supplied AC adapter.
• Remove both the DC plug and AC-IN plug to disconnect AC adapter when not in use.
• Batteries are disconnected when using AC power.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
A CR2032 battery is used to back-up the clock and alarm times.
It comes installed in the unit. When the power is low, replace as
follows:
1. Open the Battery Compartment door on the bottom of the

unit by removing the screw in the tab. Then press in on the tab
and lift the cover off.
2. Insert a CR2032 battery into the Battery Compartment as
shown. Be sure to observe the polarity markings which are
engraved inside the battery compartment.
3. Place the Battery Compartment door back on.
1. Discard button batteries carefully.
2. Do not allow children to play with button batteries, and keep button batteries out of your child's reach.
3. Never put button batteries in your mouth for any reason as they are easily swallowed accidentally.
4. Always check medications before ingesting them. Adults have swallowed button batteries mistaken
for pills or tablets.
5. Keep electronics out of your child's reach if the battery compartments do not have a screw to secure
them. Use tape to help secure the battery compartment.
6. If a button battery is ingested, immediately seek medical attention.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Warning – Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
2. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
3. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may
cause damage to the device.
4. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline, Rechargeable and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
5. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery
leakage.
6. Do not try to recharge a battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer's
directions.)
7. Remove batteries promptly if consumed.
8. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.

OPERATION
Turning the Unit On and Off:
Press the Power button to turn the unit on. The Power indicator in the Power button will light and the previous

mode and volume level will be selected. Press the Power button again to turn the unit off.

Using the FM Radio:
1. Press the Source button to select the FM band; Radio will appear in the display.

2. Tune a station using the Tune 3 and 4 buttons. For seek function, press and hold for one second; the

unit will seek and stop on the next strong station. For faster tuning, press and hold the Tune 3
buttons.
FM Antenna: Unravel and extend the FM Antenna for best FM reception.
To adjust the main volume: Press the Volume + button to increase or the Volume – button

volume.
Setting the FM Region:
This unit allows you to set the desired radio region. For region details, see chart below.
1. With the power off, press and hold the Tune4 button until the region number appears in the display

(approximately 5 seconds).
2. Select the desired region using the Volume + button ao.

RADIO REGIONS:
Region 01 (US/CN) – USA/Canada (87.5MHz to 108MHz)
Region 02 (EU) – Europe (87.5MHz to 108MHz)
Region 03 (JAPAN) – Japan (76MHz to 108MHz)
3. When done setting, wait for 5 seconds. The region will be set and the region number will disappear from the
display.
LINE IN Jack (Rear of Unit):
With the unit on, insert one end of an audio cable (not included) into the LINE OUT jack on your external audio
unit and the other end into the LINE IN jack on the rear of this unit. Press the Source button

mode; LINE IN will appear in the display. Start playback of the external unit and its audio output sound will be
heard through the TW453's speakers.
Pairing a Bluetooth Device
1. Turn the TW453 on; the previous source mode and volume will be selected.
2. Press the Source button to select Bluetooth mode; the Bluetooth indicator will appear in the display. The
ak
unit will connect to last paired device if the device is located near the TW453.
3. Press the Pair button to make the unit "discoverable"; the Bluetooth indicator will blink rapidly.

4. On the Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select "TW453" from the Device List. If the Bluetooth device
asks for a passkey, use "0000". Some Bluetooth devices will ask you to accept the connection. If the units are
paired properly, the Bluetooth indicator will light solid. If it failed and is not pairing, the bluetooth indicator
will blink slowly.
IMPORTANT: After step 3, you have two minutes to pair the units.
Note: After you pair a device, the TW453 will remember it for future use.
Using a Bluetooth Device
1. Turn the TW453 on; the previous source mode and volume will be selected.
2. With a unit paired (see previous section), press the Source button

3. Operate your Bluetooth Device and its sound will be heard through the TW453's speakers.
4. Adjust the volume using the Volume + / – buttons, or the Volume control on the Bluetooth device.

5. To turn this unit off, press the Power button y.
NOTE: After you have adjusted the volume setting, if you turn the unit off and then on again, the volume level and
mode will be set to the level you selected prior to turning the unit off.
To set or reset the actual time:
1. With the power off, press the Time Set button V.
2. Select 12 (standard US 12 hour mode) or 24 (the 24 hour Military time mode) using the Tune 3
buttons. Then press the Time Set button again.

3. Set the hours using the Tune 3 and 4 buttons and then press the Time Set button

7. When the alarm time matches the current time, the alarm will sound.
To turn the alarm off:
To turn the alarm off, simply press the Alarm 1 On/Off/Set or Alarm 2 On/Off/Set

the Snooze/Dimmer button am. The alarm will turn off, but will remain set for the next day. To turn the alarm off so
it will not sound the next day, press the Alarm 1 On/Off/Set or Alarm 2 On/Off/Set

Snooze:
While the alarm is sounding, press the Snooze/Dimmer button am. The alarm will turn back on automatically
seven minutes later. If desired, press the Snooze/Dimmer button

original Snooze time has been reached. You may repeat this process. To cancel the Snooze function, press the
Power button y.
Sleep:
With the unit playing the audio, press the Sleep button W; "60" will show in the display, which indicates the unit
will turn off after 60 minutes. Repeatedly press the Sleep button

select from 60 to 10 minutes in 10 minute increments. After about three seconds, the Sleep time will disappear
from the display.
NOTE: To cancel the Sleep function, press the Power button y.
Display Dimmer:
When in the Time mode (not Alarm mode), repeatedly press the Snooze/Dimmer button
of the display.
Auto Power Off:
If in Bluetooth or Aux mode and no signal is received for 20 minutes, the TW453 will turn itself off to save power.
USB Charging Jack:
Connect a unit that charges via USB and charges at 500mA to 1A to the USB jack
manual that comes with your external equipment for charging specifications.

INSTALLATION DES PILES
Une pile CR2032 sert à sauvegarder les heures du réveil et de
l'alarme. Elle est fournie dans l'unité. Si la puissance est faible,
effectuez le remplacement comme suit:
1. Ouvrez la porte du compartiment à piles
en retirant la vis de la languette. Ensuite, appuyez sur la

vous invitent à accepter la connexion. Si les unités sont correctement couplées, le voyant Bluetooth devient
fixe. En cas d'échec du couplage, le voyant Bluetooth clignote lentement.
IMPORTANT: Vous disposez de deux minutes pour coupler les appareils après l'étape 3.

Utilisation d'un appareil Bluetooth

Pour régler l'heure:
