    ABOUT YOUR EZI33XLT SCANNER Thank you for purchasing a Uniden EZI33XLT Handheld Scanner. The scanner is versatile, compact, and easy to use. The EZI33XLT comes pre-programmed with frequencies - organised into 9 Service banks for monitoring emergency, freenet, PMR, marine, VHF-Low band, FM radio band, Air band, VHF-High band and UHF band frequencies.

    WHAT IS SCANNING? Unlike standard AM or FM radio stations, most two-way communications do not transmit continuously. Your EZI33XLT scans programmed channels until it fi nds an active frequency, then stops on that frequency and remains on that channel as long as the transmission continues.
