I want the DAY function to show individual days but it suddenly changed to Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday which is not appropriate for my needs. I have tried pressing the reset button but that is not operating either.

The Potterton EP2 allows setting heating schedules either by grouping days (weekdays/weekends) or individually. To change the DAY function to show individual days:
1. Move the slider to "SET." 2. Press the "DAY" button to cycle through the days. 3. Adjust the ON/OFF times for each individual day using the "-" and "+" buttons. 4. Press "YES" to confirm and move to the next ON/OFF time, or "NO" to go back. 5. Repeat for all required days.
This allows the schedule to be customized for each day separately instead of grouping them.

The Potterton EP2 Programmer allows for different ON/OFF times for each day if required. If the days of the week are grouped (e.g., weekdays and weekends) instead of having individual settings, you need to change the programming mode.
To fix this, reprogram the device to set ON/OFF times separately for each day. Follow these steps: 1. Enter the programming mode. 2. Select the option to set times for individual days rather than grouped days (weekday/weekend). 3. Set the desired ON/OFF times for each day. 4. Save the settings.
This will allow you to have different ON/OFF times for each day instead of grouped days.
