Removing the Palmrest

1. Follow the procedures in
2. Remove:
a. SD card
b. battery
c. base cover
d. hard drive
e. keyboard trim
f. keyboard
3. Remove the screws that secure the palmrest assembly to the computer.
4. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
a. Lift the latches [1].
b. Disconnect LED-board, touchpad and power LED cables from the computer. [2].
