IMPORTANT If your child’s shoulders are between two pairs of slots, always use the higher position. fig 2 Release the head cushion support by undoing the knot at the rear of backrest.

You should then pull upwards simultaneously on both the lap and diagonal belts. Your car seat should now be fixed securely. To check that the seat is fixed securely, tug the top of the shoulder straps there should be little or no forwards movement.
