8. Turn the computer over. Connect the ac power adapter and all cables to the computer.

Replacing the hard disk drive in the Serial Ultrabay Enhanced bay

Before you start, print these instructions. Read the important safety information first. See "Important
safety information" on page vi.
To replace the hard disk drive in the Serial Ultrabay Enhanced bay, do the following:
1. Disconnect the ac power from the computer and turn off the computer. Close the computer display
and turn the computer over.
2. Remove the removable battery. See "Replacing the removable battery" on page 115.
3. Remove the bottom cover. See "Replacing the bottom cover" on page 118.
