There are three fan speed options: low, medium, and high. Timer The timer can be set to 1, 2, or 4 hours. If none of these timer settings are selected, the XJ-3000E ionic air purifier will run continuously, which is generally best. - Page 3 Placement * Since the XJ-3000E HEPA & ionic air purifier uses a fan, and blows a strong current of air out the top of the unit, it is not necessary to place the unit at a high elevation. It can be placed on the floor, on a table, a countertop, or on a shelf.
- Page 4 Strange Smell From the Unit The XJ-3000E air purifier may cause a subtle “burning” smell. This can be attributed to one of two things. First, the UV lamp produces only trace amounts of ozone, which may be detected in small, enclosed spaces.
