How to check its state of wear
There should be no abnormal play.

Don't forget to lightly grease the seatpost to avoid any
binding of the frame and seatpost over time.
If the crankset is replaced by a version with longer arms,
it is possible that the clearance between the pedals and
the front wheel is reduced. Make sure that your feet do
not touch the wheel when you turn the handlebars.
