The electric moffat cooker lights up when switched on and the fan is working. There is very little heat being emitted. A couple of times I kept the oven on for 10 mins but only lightly warming the oven.

Possible causes of low heat emission in a Moffat MSF 616 electric cooker include:

1. The thermostat control knob may not be set correctly.
2. The correct oven function may not be selected.
3. The appliance may not be properly pre-heated.
4. Improper cookware (such as bright or shiny utensils) may reduce heat transmission and browning.
5. The oven may not be installed correctly or may have ventilation issues.

Check that the correct settings and equipment are used, and ensure proper installation.

@Mr. Anderson . Thank you for replying. It's not any of what you've suggested. What about faulty heating element, broken thermostat, blown fuse?
